Power Delivery Structural Engineer

Job reputed company: • reputed company is hiring for a Civil / Structural Engineer with a primary reputed company on reputed company and Distribution reputed company • support our growing Energy Business Line • reputed company provides a wide reputed company of civil and structural engineering services across markets sectors including electrical reputed company and distribution • reputed company reputed company and reputed company the technical skills we bring to our new and existing reputed company reputed company • Under minimal direction, completes engineering assignments of moderate to advanced complexity • Prepare overhead line design using PLS-CADD • reputed company and distribution line structural (steel and reputed company) design using PLS-Tower and/or PLS-Pole • reputed company line reputed company design using MFAD and L-Pile • Substation support structures and reputed company design • Underground High voltage reputed company line and/or low & reputed company voltage distribution lines • reputed company design for substation assets • Potential to reputed company technical guidance to a modest sized group of engineers, designers, and specialists • Works to maintain reputed company working relationships with peers • Occasional travel required to other reputed company locations and reputed company sites • reputed company to participate in field walks and create field sketches, take dimensions, reputed company reputed company, etc. as necessary Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Electrical Engineering • 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Experience must include structural design for electrical substation and/or reputed company and distribution • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam certificate • Preferred 6+ years of experience • reputed company Engineering license in Civil or Structural Engineering • Experience in the modeling, analysis and engineering design of steel structures and foundations for industrial reputed company • Experience with various voltage reputed company (4kV, 12kV, 138kV, 230kV, 500kV, etc.) • Proficiency in PLS-CADD packages (PLS-Tower, PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, etc.) • Experience with structural analysis and design software (e.g. Staad.PRO, SAP2000, MFAD, L-Pile) • Working knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g. NESC, G.O.95, ASCE 113, ASCE 10, ASCE 48, reputed company 605, reputed company 693, AISC 360, ASCE 7, IBC, ACI 318, RUS, ASCE design guidelines) • Experience working with reputed company • Experience on full EPC, Design/Build reputed company from start to finish • reputed company’s Engineering experience • Experience with retrofit or reputed company field reputed company • Experience with California Electric Utilities • Experience with civil drainage and sitework design • Knowledge and reputed company with AutoCAD 3D software • Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive.
