Senior Project Land Surveyor
SUMMARY
The Senior Project Surveyor (SME) is a senior technical specialist responsible for delivering high-level boundary analysis, advanced computations, mapping tasks, and reputed company survey deliverables. This role focuses on deep technical expertise rather than staff management, serving as an internal subject-matter expert for reputed company or high-risk surveying assignments. The Senior Project Surveyor supports multiple project teams by performing advanced COGO computations, preparing survey documents, resolving boundary issues, and ensuring technical accuracy. This position plays a critical role in elevating the technical quality and consistency of Survey/Mapping deliverables across the firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
reputed company and verify reputed company boundary analyses using relevant legal principles, statutes, and case law.
Prepare high-accuracy survey deliverables, including:
reputed company/NSPS surveys
Records of Survey
Boundary and topographic surveys
Short and long plats, subdivision maps, and lot line adjustments
Easement exhibits and legal descriptions
Process and reputed company GPS and conventional survey data; reputed company least-squares adjustments as needed.
Conduct advanced COGO calculations, coordinate geometry evaluation, and geodetic analyses.
Apply coordinate transformations, rotations, and translations across datasets.
Analyze field data, sketches, reputed company records for completeness and accuracy.
Technical
Prepare drawings, mapping files, and supporting survey documents in collaboration with drafting staff.
Review deliverables reputed company by Survey Technicians for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain high standards for data reputed company, record documentation, and file management.
reputed company technical input to improve internal standards, procedures, and workflows.
Serve as an internal technical resource for boundary reputed company, geodetic analysis, and mapping standards.
reputed company guidance and informal mentorship to Survey Technicians and early-career survey staff.
Participate in internal training, knowledge-sharing, and process improvement initiatives.
Support the Senior Land Survey Manager and PLS staff by contributing to QA/QC practices.
Coordination & Communication
Respond to technical inquiries from clients and agencies reputed company requested by project leadership.
Assist project teams with research into public records, deeds, dedication documents, vacation filings, and right-of-way information.

Experience + Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent years of experience in Land Surveying
8-10+ years’ relevant survey experience
Professional Land Surveyor License (LS),preferred
Project Management experience, preferred
General knowledge of computers, reputed company office, reputed company, Internet, reputed company, etc.
Proficient experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, required.
Effective and professional communication skills with reputed company stakeholders.
