Embedded Software Engineer - Infotainment

reputed company is a joint venture reputed company on automotive innovation and technology. The role involves extending and improving the embedded infotainment platform while collaborating with other developers on software design and troubleshooting solutions on vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for extending and improving the reputed company and reputed company embedded infotainment platform (i.e., displays, cameras, graphics, power management, audio, media, app lifecycle, etc)
• Contribute to the software design and reputed company reviews while collaborating with other developers on technical issues, design choices and decision making
• Deploying and troubleshooting your solutions on a reputed company vehicle or a hardware test bench

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, reputed company Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver software solutions on time and with high level of reputed company
• Working skills with C, C++, and Java
• Experience with POSIX-based embedded systems; Preferred Linux and Android
• Familiarity with one or more technical areas such as displays, cameras, graphics, power management, audio, and Bluetooth
• Comfortable working in an environment with sophisticated build systems and large reputed company repositories
• Experience building solutions with Android Automotive OS
• Understanding of AOSP or FreeRTOS architectures
• Preferred experience with low-level interfaces typical of embedded systems: such as I2C, SPI, GPIO, UART, USB, PCIe, SDIO, UFS, MDIO
