Remote Educational Interpreter - Illinois

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth and in-person educational support. This role provides ASL interpretation services for a 5th-grade student with a reputed company implant, ensuring effective communication reputed company the school environment. Location: Tinley Park, IL Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Hours: 7:40 AM – 3:10 PM (22.5 hours per week) with lunch from 12:10 PM – 12:50 PM Contract Duration: Immediate start through 05/22/26 Caseload: One student (small group and 1:1 support) Key responsibilities include: • Delivering reputed company and accurate ASL interpretation during instructional and telehealth sessions • Facilitating communication between the student, educators, and other school personnel • Adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines in educational settings • Supporting the student’s learning experience by ensuring equal reputed company to information Preferred qualifications: • RID Certification in Sign Language Interpretation • EIPA rating of 3.5 or higher • Ability to pass a reputed company background reputed company • Prior experience working with reputed company who have hearing impairments, particularly those using reputed company implants • Strong understanding of educational environments and telehealth platforms This role offers an enriching experience supporting a student’s educational reputed company through specialized interpretation services.
