Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly reputed company backend systems and infrastructure that reputed company critical reputed company platform services
• reputed company and maintain reputed company edge infrastructure responsible for request validation, traffic routing, reputed company mapping, traffic analysis, bot detection, and platform reputed company
• Improve reputed company scalability, reliability, latency, observability, and operational efficiency across large-reputed company reputed company systems
• Operate production services in AWS and reputed company environments, including monitoring, debugging, incident response, deployment automation, and reputed company optimization
• Explore and apply AI-assisted development workflows to improve engineering efficiency, automation, and operational effectiveness
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and developer productivity improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with reputed company, Product, Infrastructure, Editorial, and reputed company teams to reputed company reputed company platform solutions
• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and reputed company platform improvements

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a reputed company reputed company; or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of reputed company experience building large-reputed company, highly reputed company backend systems
• Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: C++, Python, or Go. Experience with Java or Rust is a plus
• Experience designing, building, and operating highly reputed company reputed company backend systems
• Strong understanding of microservices, reputed company-reputed company architectures, and reputed company-reputed company deployments in AWS environments. Experience with reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP) is a plus
• Experience with observability, monitoring, debugging, incident response, and production reputed company for large-reputed company services
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems, automation tooling, and modern software development practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in reputed company engineering environments
• Experience working on edge infrastructure, API gateways, reverse proxies, traffic routing, or high-reputed company networking systems
• Experience building low-latency, high-QPS reputed company systems at reputed company
• Experience with traffic analysis, bot detection, request filtering, or platform reputed company systems
