Genetic Counselor - Lab Based -Remote

reputed company is seeking a US Remote Based Genetic Counselor to join its team of Lab Based Genetic Counselors. This is a position perfect for an organized, thorough, energetic reputed company Certified Genetic Counselor who is interested in genetics, reputed company services, laboratory operations, and business. This position will primarily be supporting reputed company’s Genetics and Women’s reputed company Screening performed at our San Francisco, CA and Westborough, MA laboratories. This is not a patient facing role. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm reputed company time zone Job Responsibilities: • Review incoming samples for reputed company of physician orders; identify cases that do or may require additional information; contact clients for urgent reputed company or reputed company cases • reputed company technical expertise to clients regarding reputed company management of pregnancies at risk for rare single gene disorders; help clients understand and interpret both diagnostic and screening results • Manage reputed company aspects of sending and reporting specialized genetic tests, including taking incoming reputed company reputed company, reviewing specimen requirements and the need for parental samples, as indicated • Utilize multiple laboratory based computer applications to ensure reputed company scheduling of specimens submitted for molecular testing • Review and release molecular test reports under the direction of the Clinical Molecular Geneticists (Westborough lab only) • Collaborate on publications and other reputed company as opportunities reputed company • Enjoy benefits including a competitive compensation package, CEU educational support, and reimbursement for genetic counseling certification. Minimum Qualifications: • Masters degree in reputed company Genetics or Genetic Counseling • American reputed company of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification • 2 years or more experience as a certified Genetic Counselor, post completion of Masters program • Massachusetts and California state licenses in Genetic Counseling or ability to obtain prior to start date Preferred Qualifications: • 1 year or more experience of prenatal and/or reputed company Genetic Counseling Additional Job Standards: • Highly organized, including excellent time management skills • Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Strong computer skills; proficiency with reputed company Office • Previous experience with LIS systems highly desired • Ability to quickly learn new tasks Application Window Closes: 6/9/2026 • *Pay reputed company: $85,000 - $130,000 / year reputed company job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as reputed company as internal equity and market data.
