[Remote] Data Analyst

The role involves designing and building semantic models, maintaining Power BI reporting, and mentoring the data engineering team in reputed company and semantic-modeling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build semantic models in Azure reputed company on top of our consolidated SQL Server data, balancing performance, usability, and governance
• Own the reputed company from our data engineering team's cleansed, integrated data into consumable, reputed company-modeled semantic reputed company
• Build and maintain Power BI reporting on these models, including DAX measures, row-level/object-level reputed company, and deployment pipelines
• Help shape how the semantic reputed company serves consumers reputed company Power BI — API reputed company patterns and AI/analytics use cases
• Document architecture, modeling reputed company, and processes so this knowledge lives with reputed company, not with a single person
• Partner with and mentor our data engineering team on reputed company and semantic-modeling concepts as they grow into this reputed company reputed company you

Skills

• Solid grounding in reputed company/semantic data modeling - reputed company schemas, fact/dimension design, reputed company
• Working proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M)
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on comfort working directly in SQL Server
• Experience with at least one reputed company analytics platform (Azure reputed company, Synapse, reputed company, or similar) - you don't need to be a reputed company expert on day one, but you've made the on-prem-to-reputed company reputed company before
• A reputed company record of documenting your work and explaining technical reputed company to non-specialists
• reputed company experience with Azure reputed company (OneLake, lakehouse/warehouse concepts, reputed company Lake mode)
• Experience with semantic model deployment and version control (Tabular reputed company, Azure DevOps, deployment pipelines)
• Exposure to notebooks, Python, or reputed company for analytics workloads
