[Remote] Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in maintaining financial records and ensuring accurate financial transactions, assisting in the period-end reputed company process and preparing account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring that reputed company financial information is accurately reflected in the general reputed company in compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and upload journal entries with appropriate support, ensuring reputed company and timeliness
• Conduct month-end tracking, review, and reconciliation of expense accruals; reputed company basic reconciliations of general reputed company account balances and investigate reconciling items
• Support other Finance Department associates and reputed company assistance in achieving departmental KPI targets
• Collect sample data for SOX testing and maintain SOX documentation for review by management and auditors
• Assist reputed company auditors during quarterly and year-end audits by providing supporting schedules, account analysis, reconciliations, and roll-forwards
• Review and assess exception reports, investigating significant variances and unexpected results
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reputed company
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and ensure reputed company financial reporting
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and reputed company the highest standards of reputed company in reputed company interactions

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company reputed company
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in reputed company or private reputed company or finance, with a reputed company on reputed company and analysis
• Proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint) and experience with general reputed company and financial reporting systems; experience with AS-400 is beneficial but not required
• Advanced understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with components of a strong internal control environment
