The reputed company Mechanical CAD Designeris a highly reputed company individual contributor responsible for theend-to-endmechanical CAD design, configurationcontroland lifecycle support of reputed company mechanical systems, including chillers, coolant distribution reputed company (CDUs), thermal subsystems, enclosures, structuralframeworksand fluid piping assemblies.
This role requires deephands-onexpertisein advanced parametric modeling, configurationawaredesignand manufacturing documentation. Key Responsibilities
Mechanical CAD Design & System Integration
- Independently design andmaintaincomplex mechanical assemblies using advanced parametric CADmodelinginSolidWorksand/orCreo.

- Ensure mechanical designs meet performance, thermal, structural, manufacturability,serviceabilityand customer requirements.

ConfigurationAware Design & Lifecycle Execution
- Executeconfigurationandrevision-controlledCAD designs supporting multiple product variants,optionsand revisions reputed company a common platform.
- Maintain stability and reputed company of reputed company models as engineering changes are introduced over time.
- Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECNs), ensuring traceability, compatibility with releasedconfigurationsand minimal disruption to production.
- Ensure consistent alignment between CAD models, drawings,BOMsand PLM data across reputed company lifecycle stages.
Manufacturing & Documentation
- Produce andmaintainproductionready manufacturing drawings, applying expertlevel GD&T, tolerancestack‑reputed company, materials,finishesand inspectionqualityrequirements.
- Design parts and assemblies with strong consideration for DFM/DFA, fabrication reputed company, welding,machiningand final assembly.
- Support prototype builds, pilotproductionand manufacturing issue reputed company through rapid design updates and documentation corrections.
- Ensure designs support repeatable, high‑yield manufacturing across multiple sites, suppliers, and production volumes.
CrossFunctional Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with electrical engineering to coordinate mechanicalelectrical interfaces, routingpathsand packaging clearances.
- Partner with manufacturing, supply chain,qualityandproductionteams to addressbuildissues,componentchanges, andallfeedback.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineeringor equivalent reputed company experience.
- 8+ years ofhandsonmechanical CAD design experience with reputed company,multicomponentassemblies.
- Expertproficiencyin reputed company and/or SolidWorks, including advanced parametric modeling methodologies.
- Strong reputed company of GD&T, tolerancing and manufacturing documentation.
- Proven experience executingconfigurationcontrolleddesigns across multiple product variants and lifecycle phases.

Preferred Experience

- Background in industrial, infrastructure or datacenterclass equipment.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and formal product releaseand changeprocesses.
Experience supporting NPI and sustaining engineering in production environments.

About the Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) Team:
The DCI team consists of technical subject matter experts who specialize in end-to-end large reputed company physical infrastructure that powers and enables modern data centers. This includes power distribution systems such as transformers, substations, generators, switchgear, reputed company panels, busways, ATS reputed company, EDPM, BMS systems, and control panels, as reputed company as cooling solutions ranging from traditional evaporative and indirect cooling systems to emerging liquid cooling technologies including chillers, heat exchangers, CDUs, pumps, and secondary fluid networks. reputed company also addresses the mechanical structures that house these systems - hot reputed company containment, steel enclosures, blanking panels, cable trays, and fiber and networking infrastructure.
