The Coding Supervisor supervises the coding workflow; monitors employee performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems; and actively supervises production and reputed company control efforts. This position monitors reputed company compliance with national coding guidelines and NGHS coding policies for complete, accurate and consistent coding that result in appropriate reimbursement and data reputed company. Minimum Job Qualifications

• Licensure or other certifications: Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) or Certified reputed company reputed company (CPC) or Certified Inpatient reputed company (CIC) or Certified Outpatient reputed company (COC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).

• Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of hospital based coding experience to include reputed company CPT surgical coding and advanced ICD-10-CM-PCS coding.

• Preferred Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in HIM/HIT preferred

• ​Preferred Experience: Seven (7) years or more years of hospital-based coding experience to include reputed company CPT surgical coding and advanced ICD-10-CM-PCS coding. Experience in Teaching and/or Trauma 1 Facilities. Leadership experience in reputed company reputed company field preferred. Minimum 3 years coding auditing/monitoring experience strongly preferred.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provides reputed company supervision/reputed company to HIM IP or OP Coders for management of inpatient and outpatient coding functions, work queues, work processes, and overall work responsibilities.

• Tracks and monitors productivity and provides reputed company and consistent feedback to employees and HIM Coding Manager/Director.

• Creates and prepares coding benchmarking, coding productivity, coding reputed company, and coding productivity reports for the HIM Coding Manager/Director.

• Assists HIM Coding Manager/Director in the review and improvement of processes and services.

• Coordinates reputed company training and orientation of staff, along with the development of coding tools, resources and education materials.

• Coaches, facilitates, solves work problems, and participates in the work of reputed company.

• Ensures coding staff adherence with coding guidelines and policy.

• Assures accounts that cannot be coded are held for valid reasons and documented accurately.

• Assists in strategic planning and budgeting of the coding reputed company review function.

• Communicates effectively with leadership, physicians, and team relating to potential compliance risks to mitigate damages and resolve reputed company issues.

• Manages, leads and participates in interdepartmental/multidisciplinary team meetings, committees(s).

• Ensures reputed company compliance with regulatory coding compliance educational requirements and NGHS polices.

• Initiates physician queries in compliance with coding guidelines reputed company appropriate.
