[Remote] Staff Software Engineer

They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to work on a deeply technical product that connects to over 40 developer tools and processes millions of events, focusing on building reputed company backend software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, reputed company and maintain reputed company in a fast-paced reputed company conscious Java environment
• Author software functional specifications and design documents for features developed
• Quickly understand reputed company systems/reputed company and own key reputed company of the system, including the delivered reputed company
• Work in an agile environment, using iterative development cycles and a short customer feedback reputed company
• Design and implementation of reputed company backend software solutions
• Diagnose and troubleshoot reputed company problems in a distributed computing environment
• reputed company peer reviews of specifications, design, and reputed company
• Quickly understand reputed company systems/reputed company and own key reputed company of the system, including the delivered reputed company
• Work alongside Site Reliability Engineers/DevOps and cross functional teams to reputed company software or diagnose/troubleshoot any production reputed company issues

Skills

• 8-10+ years of experience developing highly reputed company, distributed applications, products, and backend services using Java
• A desire to build products that solve reputed company technical problems for end users
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Deep understanding of how distributed resilient software is reputed company and deployed
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Experience working in short release cycles
• Design, reputed company, reputed company and maintain reputed company in a fast-paced reputed company conscious Java environment
• Author software functional specifications and design documents for features developed
