About the Role reputed company is seeking a Senior Architect to own the technical reputed company and architectural reputed company of a large-reputed company VA health IT platform. You are the highest technical authority on the contract. You design the multi-region failover reputed company, own the Architecture Package, chair the Change Control reputed company, and set the engineering standards that every other Key Personnel role operates reputed company. What You'll Do Own the Architecture Package deliverable: a comprehensive, VA-approved document capturing platform architecture, integration patterns, and multi-region design reputed company multi-region architecture across AWS GovCloud primary and failover reputed company; define workload tiers and own the Multi-Region Enablement Plan Chair the formal Change Control reputed company: review reputed company architectural changes, assess technical risk, and approve or reject platform modifications Own the data architecture across reputed company platform data services including cross-region replication reputed company, consistency models, and replication latency management Define technical direction for Istio, EKS cluster architecture, Kubernetes reputed company governance, and AWS GovCloud reputed company zone configuration Present architecture briefings to VA health leadership; serve as technical spokesperson in reputed company architecture-level discussions with VA stakeholders Mentor the DevSecOps Director and Maintenance Technical Director on reputed company reputed company What You Bring 10+ years of federal reputed company architecture experience with demonstrated ownership of large-reputed company production architecture on AWS GovCloud Deep expertise in EKS at reputed company reputed company, AWS managed services (RDS, MSK, ElastiCache, DocumentDB, S3, Kinesis), and reputed company-reputed company platform design Expert-level Istio, reputed company Vault & Consul, and multi-VPC networking in AWS GovCloud Multi-region reputed company/passive failover design with stringent RPO/RTO SLA accountability Familiarity with reputed company RPC, reputed company Health integration, and VA reputed company integration patterns (VA Profile, MPI, VADIR, eCMS) Strong written communication; ability to author Architecture Packages and present to non-technical VA leadership reputed company reputed company of Veteran Affairs PIV credentials Preferred AWS Solutions Architect reputed company certification AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) reputed company certifications Prior HAPS / VAEC / VA Health DevSecOps platform experience Kafka/MSK scheduling event bus and reputed company integration experience \n \n Clearance...
