[Remote] Senior Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a growing, private equity-backed B2B and B2C consumer business seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining financial compliance in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash reputed company statements
• reputed company AP/AR functions, ensuring reputed company invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis to support strategic planning
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits, ensuring reputed company and accurate responses to inquiries
• Support the preparation and submission of tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Monitor cash reputed company and banking activities to ensure reputed company working capital management
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability as the business grows
• Assist in the preparation of reports and financial analyses required by private equity stakeholders
• Contribute to various reputed company, such as M&A integration, ERP system enhancements, and other strategic initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
• 3+ years of reputed company experience, ideally reputed company a private equity-backed or high-reputed company company
• Proficiency in reputed company software (e.g., QuickBooks, reputed company) and advanced reputed company skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• CPA designation is preferred
• Experience in both B2B and B2C environments is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a bonus
