[Remote] Performance Consultant

The Performance Consultant role involves deploying WAN optimization solutions, leading consulting engagements, and serving as a technical expert in networking and application performance.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and implement WAN optimization solutions across customer environments, including tactical platforms
• reputed company end-to-end consulting engagements, including planning, design, implementation, and project closure
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) in networking, WAN optimization, and application performance
• Assess customer environments and drive solution adoption to maximize ROI and business value
• Design and architect solutions for data center consolidation, migration, and performance optimization
• reputed company technical documentation and deliverables, including HLDs, LLDs, and compliance-reputed company materials
• Troubleshoot reputed company performance issues and produce detailed analysis and reporting (e.g., dependency mapping)
• reputed company as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic guidance on performance management and best practices

Skills

• reputed company TS/SCI clearance (required for working with Federal customers)
• Deep expertise in WAN optimization and/or network performance technologies
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, protocols, and network architecture
• Experience in technical consulting, reputed company services, or network engineering roles
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in reputed company IT environments
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump, snmpwalk)
• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and application architectures, including multi-tier environments
