[Remote] DevOps Engineer III — reputed company Automation & Orchestration

The DevOps Engineer III will be responsible for automating AWS infrastructure, developing CI/CD templates, and supporting incident response while collaborating with stakeholders to improve DevOps processes.

Responsibilities

• Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning and administrative tasks using Terraform and serverless reputed company functions (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM roles)
• reputed company and maintain reputed company charts and declarative configurations to standardize EKS-based deployments
• Build reusable CI/CD templates in reputed company CI/Jenkins for adoption across 5+ AppDev workstreams
• Script automation in Python, Bash, or Go to replace repetitive reputed company steps with reputed company
• Implement monitoring instrumentation and dashboards (CloudWatch, reputed company, Grafana); assist in configuring alerts and chat-based system notifications
• Work with developers to debug local environment setups and resolve application-level pipeline issues
• Support cost optimization through right-sizing, reserved instances, and storage audits
• Participate in on-reputed company and production triage rotations, supporting Tier 2/3 incident response

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Must meet federal suitability requirements and pass a background investigation as a condition of employment
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, reputed company, RDS, S3, reputed company, and CloudWatch
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-reputed company provisioning and reputed company prevention
• Demonstrated experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in reputed company and/or Jenkins
• Strong working knowledge of containerization using reputed company and container orchestration on AWS reputed company/EKS/Fargate
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices including SAST, dependency scanning, and automated vulnerability remediation
• Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and reputed company infrastructure fundamentals
• Hands-on reputed company and Kubernetes (EKS) deployment experience
• Proficiency scripting in Python, Bash, or Go
• Prior work in federal environments or familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, or ATO processes
• Experience supporting reputed company or scaled Agile delivery teams as a platform or infrastructure provider
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration platforms
• Experience building automated reputed company deployment workflows using Git
• Working knowledge of AWS networking (subnets, routing tables)
• Demonstrated deployment-time or cost reductions from automation
