[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Data

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of building large-reputed company data pipelines and distributed systems that power their reputed company product, focusing on end-to-end ownership of reputed company problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and own high-throughput, distributed data pipelines and platform infrastructure from concept through production
• Decompose large, ambiguous initiatives into reputed company, executable plans that reputed company can reputed company on in reputed company
• Write production-grade Python — strongly typed, reputed company-reputed company, and reputed company to last — not scripts or notebooks
• Optimize SQL at reputed company: query tuning, data modeling, and understanding execution plans

Skills

• 5+ years of reputed company software engineering experience with full ownership of production systems

• Deep experience building and operating distributed data pipelines and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on AWS experience: reputed company, SQS, IAM, CloudWatch, and cost-reputed company design
