[Remote] Mid-Level Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Mid-Level Accountant to reputed company detailed financial analysis, reconciliation, and review support. The role involves reviewing grant expenditures, monitoring compliance, and preparing financial reports under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing grant expenditures for allowability under 2 CFR Part 200
• Monitoring recipient financial compliance
• Reviewing budgets and budget modifications
• Preparing or reviewing Federal Financial Reports (SF-425)
• Reconciling grant expenditures and drawdowns
• Assessing indirect cost rates (NICRA) and application of indirect costs
• Reviewing recipient internal controls and financial management systems
• Supporting grant closeout activities
• Assisting with audit findings and corrective reputed company plans
• Providing technical assistance to grant recipients on financial compliance

Skills

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card is required for this position due to federal contract requirements
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, auditing, or cost reputed company, and 3+ years of relevant federal experience
• Experience supporting government financial & reputed company evaluations, with a strong preference experience in indirect cost reputed company reviews, cost allocation plans, or similar financial evaluations
• Knowledge of basic Federal cost principles and familiarity with 2 CFR Part 200
• Experience reconciling financial data & analysis/review of audited financial statements
• Ability to prepare reputed company and accurate supporting documentation
• Demonstrated experience with reputed company reputed company and financial analysis tools
• Ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
• Experience supporting cost and financial transparency & maintaining documentation sufficient for Federal review
• Ability to obtain and maintain required reputed company clearance/credentials required to reputed company the job
• Desired knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200
• Uniform Guidance requirements for federal grants and cooperative agreements
