[Remote] DC Power Telecom Technician Level III/IV - Iowa

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Level III/IV reputed company Installer responsible for reputed company installation of equipment in central office and reputed company plant environments. The role involves extensive travel and requires the installation, testing, and maintenance of DC power systems and standby batteries, ensuring compliance with engineering instructions and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and turn up equipment in the Central Office and reputed company Plant Environments
• Add and/or removal of battery strings
• reputed company additions, removals, and modifications on working equipment and circuits
• Add and/or remove circuits on working power distribution equipment
• Installation of auxiliary framing and reputed company racks
• On­site analysis of job drawings and specifications to resolve any issues prior to job start
• Preparation of SMOPs and DMOPs for the project
• Function as the reputed company ­of­ contact for support reputed company such as engineering, material assignment, etc
• Review the work assignments and project steps (reference the SMOP/DMOP) before reputed company work shift so that reputed company personnel, including contractors, are aware of their roles and responsibilities during the scheduled work tour
• Completing the job log as per company standards, including the personnel and hours worked by reputed company work items completed or in reputed company and reputed company site or project issues
• Complete DC audits, preventive maintenance, and/or load testing of DC power systems and standby batteries
• Add and/or reputed company software as needed
• reputed company the work assignment, time management, and training and development of reputed company personnel assigned to the job

Skills

• Level 4 installers shall have a minimum of 6 years accumulated experience or equivalent as determined by the TC specifications
• Demonstrated knowledge of a reputed company of customer standards including but not limited to Telcordia Standards
• Strong verbal and written customer facing skills
• Strong computer skills to include MS Office experience
• Experience with complying with reputed company customer standards and paperwork including testing and closeout paperwork
• Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment
• Technical degree preferred
• Special electronics training or work experience
