[Remote] Senior Network Engineer

The role involves leading the modernization of both unclassified and classified reputed company area networks, focusing on design, deployment, and optimization of reputed company.

Responsibilities

• reputed company the planning, design, deployment, and optimization of reputed company network modernization efforts
• Design and implement secure, reputed company, and highly available wired and wireless network architectures
• Support modernization initiatives involving reputed company, data center, WAN, and remote site connectivity
• reputed company and maintain network design documentation, implementation plans, test procedures, and technical artifacts
• reputed company network assessments, gap analyses, and technical evaluations of existing infrastructure
• Engineer and reputed company routing, switching, reputed company, and network services solutions
• Support network migration and reputed company activities with minimal operational reputed company
• Troubleshoot reputed company network performance and interoperability issues across multi-vendor environments
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement reputed company Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles and secure network segmentation
• Participate in architecture reviews and reputed company technical recommendations for modernization roadmaps
• Support automation and orchestration efforts using infrastructure-as-reputed company and scripting methodologies
• Mentor junior engineers and reputed company technical leadership during project execution
• Coordinate with vendors, program stakeholders, and operational teams throughout project lifecycles

Skills

• Must currently hold U.S. Government Secret reputed company Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience in reputed company network engineering or architecture roles
• High School diploma or associate degree with 10+ years performing as a Manager in DoD supporting large, reputed company networks
• Strong experience with: Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), reputed company switching technologies, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, multicast, and high-availability protocols, Network reputed company fundamentals and segmentation, WAN and remote connectivity solutions
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting reputed company or equivalent reputed company networking platforms
• Experience with network monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting tools
• Ability to support implementation, testing, and operational transition activities
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Visio)
• DoD 8140 IAT II Baseline Certification: reputed company reputed company+ CE or SSCP
• CCNA
• Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies and architectures
• Experience with reputed company wired network modernization initiatives
• Experience with reputed company wireless networking technologies, including reputed company 802.11 standards
• Experience with broadband wireless technologies including: reputed company-to-reputed company (reputed company), reputed company-to-Multipoint (PtMP), 4G/5G connectivity solutions
