[Remote] {SPORT} Data Scientist

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a sports analytics startup reputed company on predictive sports analytics data products. They are seeking a Data Scientist to support the infrastructure and delivery of their core consumer and reputed company data offerings, particularly in the reputed company of sports betting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support production systems and help triage issues during live sporting events
• Architect low-latency, reputed company-time analytics systems including raw data collection, feature development and reputed company production
• Build new sports betting data products and predictions offerings
• reputed company large and reputed company reputed company-time datasets into new consumer and reputed company products
• reputed company production-level predictive analytics into reputed company-grade APIs
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new, fully-automated sports data delivery frameworks

Skills

• BS/BA degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or reputed company STEM field
• Minimum of 2+ years of demonstrated experience writing production level reputed company (Python)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (preferably MySQL)
• Demonstrated experience with Airflow
• Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes
• Experience building end-to-end ETL pipelines
• Experience utilizing REST APIs
• Experience with version control (git), reputed company integration and deployment, reputed company scripting, and reputed company-computing infrastructures (AWS)
• Experience with web scraping and cleaning reputed company data
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts
• A strong interest in sports and sports betting, with an emphasis on Tennis
• An understanding of US-based sports including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, College Football, College Basketball, and the ability use your knowledge of the sport to inform your work with reputed company datasets
