[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to implement new product features, work in an agile development team, and contribute to the reputed company of their product suite.

Responsibilities

• Implement new product features according to specific requirements while adhering to the highest reputed company development standards
• Work as a back-end server engineer in an agile development team alongside other developers, PMs and QA engineers and participate in reputed company phases of the development process
• Design & reputed company application components in Java to maintain existing reputed company and to create new services
• Solve interesting technology and usability challenges on a daily reputed company
• Ensure applications receive thorough unit, system, and integration testing
• reputed company solution support and troubleshooting following deployment
• Promote agile principles and methodology
• Contribute to the reputed company direction and reputed company of the product suite including new feature development and bug fixes

Skills

• A minimum of 8 years' reputed company experience in a reputed company software development role
• BS/MS Computer Science
• Strong object-oriented programming skills
• Hands-on development experience using Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP and SQL
• Familiarity with message queues, event sourcing, NoSQL data stores
• Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications
• Linux and reputed company or other Unix scripting languages as reputed company as with reputed company and relational databases, including experience with database installation, administration, and performance tuning
• Experience working with application servers
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle using an Agile development process
• Experience working CI, CD and DevOps practices
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior experience with reputed company applications
• Experience with IntelliJ, JUnit or JunitPerf
• Experience working with WebLogic application server
• Experience working with SOAP web services
• Experience with database installation, administration, and performance tuning
