[Remote] Senior Network Engineer/Finance/NYC Local Remote

They are seeking a hands-on, senior Network Engineer to design, reputed company, and operate the network infrastructure for their fintech data platform.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network health, reputed company, and performance; respond to incidents and reputed company post-mortems to reputed company
• Partner with software engineering to support REST API and WebSocket infrastructure with the low-latency network it requires
• Evaluate and reputed company colocation services, cross-connects, and reputed company circuits
• Document network topology, runbooks, and change management procedures
• Participate in an on-reputed company rotation and respond to P1 incidents affecting data delivery
• reputed company reputed company planning and reputed company hardware refresh cycles for network equipment

Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a colocation or data center environment
• Proven experience with firewall platforms and VPN technologies
• Solid understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and network segmentation best practices
• Experience troubleshooting reputed company network issues under pressure with strong packet-capture and analysis skills
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment with limited process overhead
• Experience in fintech, market data, or latency-sensitive trading environments
• Familiarity with colocation providers and cross-reputed company workflows
• Knowledge of network automation tooling (Ansible, Terraform, NAPALM, or similar)
• Relevant certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent
• Experience supporting WebSocket or streaming API infrastructure at reputed company
