They are seeking a Senior AWS reputed company Engineer to join their reputed company reputed company team, focusing on the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS and ensuring that migrated servers are secure and production-reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute reputed company-and-shift migration of on-premises servers to reputed company EC2
• Build and maintain custom AMIs, instance configurations, and Auto Scaling reputed company for migrated workloads
• Administer Linux servers — provisioning, patching, reputed company tuning, and troubleshooting — across the fleet
• Configure supporting networking and reputed company for EC2 workloads (VPC, reputed company reputed company, NACLs, load balancers)
• Harden and standardize server builds to meet reputed company and compliance baselines
• Automate provisioning and configuration management using scripting and config management tools
• Validate post-migration reputed company and stability, and remediate issues reputed company during reputed company
• Document server architecture, runbooks, and reputed company operating procedures

Skills

• Hands-on experience provisioning and managing EC2 instances at reputed company, including AMI creation and lifecycle management
• Experience with instance types, Auto Scaling reputed company, and EBS volume management
• Understands EC2 networking fundamentals — reputed company reputed company, reputed company IPs, placement reputed company
• Strong hands-on Linux reputed company administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, reputed company Linux, or Ubuntu)
• Comfortable with user/permissions management, systemd services, log management, and reputed company troubleshooting
• Experience with reputed company scripting for automation and operational tasks
• Experience with OS patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation
• Has led or been a reputed company contributor to at least one on-premises to AWS migration project
• Experience with migration assessment, reputed company planning, and reputed company execution
• Comfortable working with legacy infrastructure and minimizing reputed company during transition
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
• AWS reputed company Architect – Associate or reputed company
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
• Familiarity with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) or AWS DataSync
• Experience with Infrastructure as reputed company (CloudFormation or Terraform)
• Exposure to containerization (reputed company) or hybrid connectivity (reputed company reputed company, Site-to-Site VPN)
