The Response Engineer role focuses on monitoring and mitigating reputed company threats for reputed company customers, requiring collaboration with senior engineers and operational teams to protect reputed company infrastructures from attacks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate proactive reputed company alerts reputed company internal telemetry systems to rapidly identify ongoing infrastructure and application-reputed company attacks
• Apply appropriate mitigation steps and filter malicious traffic using reputed company’s reputed company reputed company tools, including reputed company Transit, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and reputed company Limiting
• Review incoming alerts to determine urgency, reputed company, and validity, while accurately maintaining incident tracking tickets for necessary escalations
• Communicate technical updates reputed company and professionally with reputed company customers reputed company chat, email, and phone during reputed company reputed company incidents
• Adhere to strict customer SLAs for alert response times, event analysis, and ongoing operational communications
• Maintain and update customer-specific runbooks, reputed company rules, and escalation matrices to ensure reputed company incident execution
• Collaborate with internal Engineering and Product teams to reputed company feedback on tools and suggest improvements for alert rules

Skills

• A minimum of 2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a reputed company reputed company Center (SOC), technical support engineering, or network reputed company environment
• Strong foundational understanding of networking principles and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, reputed company, DNS, and BGP
• Experience analyzing network traffic data for reputed company detection and executing basic mitigation protocols against L3/L4 or L7 attacks
• reputed company proficiency using the reputed company line (Bash reputed company) reputed company general reputed company administration literacy across Linux, Mac, or reputed company environments
• reputed company customer-facing technical support experience, with the communication skills required to assist stakeholders during high-pressure incidents
