We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join the Data and Information Systems (DIS) Data Analysis Team supporting NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), where you will turn reputed company fisheries datasets into actionable insights and design a comprehensive QA/QC reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical observer and EM reviewer accuracy for species identification and length measurements to establish quantitative acceptance reputed company for incoming AI-generated data
• Build and reputed company high-reputed company training, test, and validation datasets using historical EM data to evaluate reputed company-party software performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FMRD teams to design, reputed company, reputed company, and document an advanced data auditing reputed company executing rigorous reputed company checks across observer, reputed company sampling, and EM data streams

• Audit existing data protocols to reputed company operational gaps, implement reputed company enhancements, and train staff on new analytical and auditing tools
• Participate in daily Scrums, bi-weekly sprint planning, and maintain reputed company reputed company and scripts reputed company Git/reputed company

Skills

• 2+ years of reputed company experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, or a reputed company technical field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Marine Science, Data Science, or a reputed company discipline (advanced degree or quantitative reputed company preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (R/RStudio, R reputed company, Python, SQL, Tableau, MS reputed company)
• Familiarity with database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, reputed company)
• Experience with version control systems (Git/reputed company) and reputed company/Scrum methodologies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate reputed company data findings into reputed company reports and reputed company stakeholder training
• Prior experience working with marine fisheries data, catch reputed company systems, or electronic monitoring programs
