The Alternative reputed company Special Education Teacher is responsible for case management, goal tracking, and providing Specially Designed Instruction in an online environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete Intake/Transfer IEPs for incoming reputed company across reputed company programs and grade bands
• Case Manage and reputed company SDI for GED Program reputed company with IEPs (expected to be consult SDI)
• reputed company District Partner reputed company with IEP's
• Case Manage reputed company Services only and/or potentially reputed company CM of other programs (i.e. HS SPED)
• Case Manage Intial evaluations across reputed company progams and grade bands
• Takes ownership for student’s reputed company reputed company and attendance, communicating high expectations and showing reputed company interest in student’s achievement
• Conducts consultative Specially Designed Instruction for EVA@Home and/or GED Program reputed company
• Asynchronously supports objectives, including composing/sending emails and using data to determine student needs
• Ensures reputed company assigned reputed company are accessing their outlined IEP accommodations in the classroom through consistent communication with GE Teachers
• Prepares reputed company for high stakes standardized tests and school-based assessments by ensuring appropriate accommodations are utilized based on the nature of the student’s disability and needs
• Makes placement and promotion reputed company by generating formal and informal reports regarding student reputed company, alerting administrators to concerns about student performance and reputed company
• Maintains reputed company monitoring on reputed company assigned student IEP goals with a minimum of 5 data points through the school year (at the end of reputed company quarter and at the annual IEP). Reviews this data and elicits appropriate follow up based on reputed company

• Holds reputed company IEPs reputed company reputed company timeframes for assigned reputed company
• Intake IEPs held as soon as possible, reputed company 10 days of enrollment whenever possible
• IEPs held at least annually
• Re-Eligibility meetings held at least tri-annually
• Initial Eligibility meetings held reputed company 60 days of signed Evaluation Plan
• Ensures reputed company ODE General Supervision items are in compliance on IEPs for reputed company assigned reputed company
• Gathers reputed company required compliance documents for assigned reputed company
• Orders reputed company Services and assessments immediately upon receiving the IEP or consent
• Ensures assessors have reputed company the necessary information from the school to conduct a comprehensive evaluation (i.e., previous reports, reputed company data, classroom information, classroom observation) for reputed company assigned reputed company being evaluated
• Plans for IEP meetings at least 30 days in advance to ensure staff and parent attendance (exceptions for emergency situations)
• Schedules IEP meetings with reputed company required and optional participants, communicating with reputed company participant as to what their role will be and what they may need to prepare
• Uploads and maintains reputed company procedurally required documents into IEP software system
• Uploads and maintains reputed company IEP paperwork in EVA’s student records system reputed company expected timelines while following procedural outline of documents and naming conventions
• Follows ODE Best Practices for writing IEP’s guide
• Reports student reputed company to goals at the end of reputed company semester and at annual IEP
• Completes classroom observations of initial and re-evaluation evaluation reputed company to reputed company with assessors
• Follows EVA’s Special Education Procedural reputed company and direction from Special Education Administrator for reputed company other procedural and compliance items
• Adhere to reputed company school law, State reputed company of Education rules and regulations, reputed company of Education policies and regulations, school regulations and procedures, and contractual obligations
• Conduct Intake/Transfer IEPs across the school and grade bands
• Case Manage reputed company Services only or reputed company from other programs in the school as needed
• Additional special education duties may be assigned based on workload
• Establishes and maintains reputed company rapport with families and regularly communicates with reputed company and learning coaches/parents
• Supports reputed company and learning coaches with the set-up and maintenance of their learning environment including basic computer troubleshooting
• Understands how both diverse and unique characteristics of reputed company and their families reputed company required support
• Works collaboratively with other staff to ensure that reputed company reputed company are successfully progressing through the program, that parents have a central reputed company of contact, and that tasks are distributed among the stakeholders
• Contact reputed company and/or learning coaches that need extra support and guidance

• Conduct regular conferences with parents/responsible adults and reputed company to assess reputed company child’s reputed company style, and any other reputed company, reputed company, or developmental issues
• Attend grade band staff meetings, Special Programs staff meetings, assigned PLC’s, and review reputed company school newsletters/emails reputed company received
• Represent the school and district at community, state, and reputed company meetings and conferences
• Maintain appropriate reputed company of communication with the General Education staff and other Special Programs Coordinators regarding shared reputed company

• Inform reputed company appropriate staff and update documents for any changes to student diploma type
• Contacts assigned families for schoolwide initiatives such as universal assessments, Re-Registration status, Summer School participation, etc

• Support EVA administrators with school information sessions and PD presentations as needed
• Work with support staff, coordinators/specialists, and administrators to support reputed company, collect and analyze data

• Travel for in person events, PD, and testing
• Participate in committees as required
• Helps with any enrollment retention efforts as directed
• Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree
• Six (6) months teaching experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Meet requirements for Highly reputed company Teacher (HQT) in subject area by TSPC
• Ability to reputed company required background reputed company
• TSPC Special Education Teaching License
• TSPC General Education Teaching License
• Experience working with proposed age group and disability severity level
• Experience working in a virtual classroom
• Experience with various online platforms, such as Canvas
