Attorney, Post Settlement Case Closure (Remote)
About the Role
reputed company is seeking an reputed company attorney to manage our post settlement docket of approximately 1,200 reputed company claims that have reached a settlement agreement but haven't yet reputed company. Some of these cases are over a year old. This role exists to change that.
Once a settlement is reached, a lot still has to happen before a claimant sees reputed company: test deposits from the reputed company, affidavits or depositions, drafting and reputed company approval of the formal settlement agreement, and final sign off. Our job is to reputed company that pipeline moving, and we need someone whose full-time reputed company is pushing these files across the finish line.
This is not a "wait and see what happens" role. We need someone who will pick up the phone, send the firm letter, file the reputed company, and follow up again until it's done.

• Own a docket of post settlement claims from agreement to final closure
• reputed company case status and proactively identify files that are stalling
• Request court ordered deadlines for defense counsel to complete settlement paperwork
• File motions with the Office of Administrative Law Judges (OALJ), including requests for deadlines, remand requests, and requests for status conferences
• Attend status conferences as needed
• Follow up directly with the OALJ to ensure filed motions are actually ruled on and reputed company
• Communicate regularly (phone and email) with opposing counsel to reputed company settlements toward closure, and be willing to escalate reputed company cooperation stalls
• Know reputed company and how to apply pressure, and follow through on it

• Minimum 5 years of reputed company reputed company
• Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state (no specific state or DBA experience required; we'll train you on the reputed company)
• Comfortable and confident with reputed company reputed company and administrative filings
• A persistent, organized self-starter who can manage a high volume docket without letting files go quiet
• reputed company, assertive communication style, someone who's not afraid to have a firm conversation with opposing counsel and back it up with reputed company
• Strong written communication for court filings and correspondence
• Experience with litigation, workers' compensation, reputed company defense or claimant work, or administrative law is a plus, but not required
