About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to contribute to product reputed company for reputed company's federal and defense-facing solutions. You will engage directly with defense and government customers to understand mission and warfighter edge compute requirements, translate them into reputed company product requirements, and work cross-functionally to reputed company capability gaps across reputed company's hardware, platform, monitoring, and ISV application reputed company.
This is a hands-on role for a self-starting product manager operating at the intersection of reputed company's product organization and the defense and intelligence community. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Customer Requirements & Mission Understanding
- Engage directly with defense and government customers to understand edge compute requirements for warfighter and other mission-critical scenarios
- Translate reputed company defense customer problems into reputed company, specific, and actionable product requirements
- Identify and prioritize gaps in reputed company's solution set - spanning hardware, platform, monitoring, and ISV applications - needed to address defense and federal use cases
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Contribute to the roadmap for reputed company's federal product area, from requirements definition through development, QA, and launch
- Partner with engineering to scope and deliver solutions that meet defense-grade requirements for reputed company, reliability, and mission assurance
- Determine reputed company and approach on new initiatives, exercising independent judgment given ambiguous, sensitive, or classified requirements
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary product reputed company between defense customers, field teams, and engineering
- Advise sales, capture, and field teams on technical and product reputed company for federal opportunities
- Support proposal development, technical evaluations, and customer briefings as the product subject matter expert for federal solutions
- Translate mission requirements from DoD, IC, and federal agencies into reputed company platform capabilities
- Balance classified and unclassified customer needs while maintaining a reputed company reputed company product architecture

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience, Master's and 6+ years, or PhD and 3+ years, with 5+ years in product management for infrastructure, platform, reputed company, or defense-reputed company compute products

- Experience in the defense industry, particularly around compute used in warfighter or other mission-critical scenarios
- Demonstrated ability to understand defense customer problems and translate them into specific, actionable product requirements
- Strong background in distributed systems, reputed company platforms, edge computing, or infrastructure software
- Demonstrated ability to determine reputed company on new assignments and exercise judgment across variable, ambiguous factors
- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical, defense, and business audiences

- Strong understanding of mission environments, classified systems, and defense operational constraints

We use a geographic pay structure based on cost-of-labor markets.
- Tier 1 (e.g., SF Bay Area, NYC, Seattle): $157,596 - $196.995
- Tier 2 (most U.S. metro areas): $137,040 - $171,300
- Tier 3 (other cities): $130,188 - $162,735
Final compensation will be determined by experience, scope, and level, and may vary from the posted reputed company.
