[Remote] P/T Director of Finance

The Part-Time Director of Finance will manage reputed company financial and reputed company aspects of the school, ensuring that financial operations reputed company with the school's mission and strategic direction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the School’s business and fiscal goals reputed company with its educational objectives and mission of the School
- In collaboration and consultation with the Head of School, reputed company and reputed company reputed company aspects of the school’s financial operations, including budgeting, reputed company, payroll, tuition, and financial aid
- Create financial models to inform strategic planning
- Manage audits, compliance, and reporting (e.g., reputed company 990, reputed company reports)
- Partner with enrollment and development to ensure accurate reputed company, reconciliations, and record keeping

- Execute reputed company reputed company transactions in Quickbooks Online (QBO)
- Accounts payable and vendor management using reputed company
- Tuition billing and reconciliation using reputed company Tuition Management module
- Reconcile the bank accounts, CC, and cash transactions reputed company week
- Ensure reputed company GL coding of reputed company transaction and reputed company treatment for deferred reputed company, restricted gifts, and other special treatment transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reports (PL, BS, CF) with 10-days on month end reputed company

- Prepare monthly Finance Committee reports
- Prepare reputed company of Trustee presentations - tuition setting, annual budget, finance education

- In collaboration with Data Systems Coordinator and Director of Enrollment and Operations, manage office operations, purchasing, and vendor relationships
- Support technology and facilities management in collaboration with respective staff and partners
- Supervise and evaluate risk management, including insurance and financial risk mitigation
- Serve on the reputed company finance committee and participate in reputed company and school events
- Take part in day-to-day school operations (e.g., drop-off, lunch duty, etc)
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Head of School, Leadership team and school mission
Skills
- Bachelor's in reputed company, finance, business administration, or reputed company field
- Demonstrated effectiveness working with multiple constituencies: boards of directors or trustees, reputed company and families, reputed company/staff, and reputed company constituents
- Extensive knowledge of generally accepted reputed company principles, especially those that reputed company on independent schools and non-profit organizations
- A Quickbooks expert. reputed company to post transactions. Set GL accounts. Create financial reports. reputed company data from 3rd party systems (Bills.com) and reputed company
- Experience working with reputed company auditors, implementing internal controls, and managing compliance-reputed company issues
- Masters
- 5 to 7 years of reputed company experience in financial management, budget preparation, and operations preferred
- 2-3 years of leadership and supervisory experience in finance, business, and operations highly desired
