Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and test backend applications and services using Java, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Design, reputed company, and maintain reputed company infrastructure and services on reputed company Azure
• Partner directly with clients to reputed company requirements, reputed company technical recommendations, and communicate reputed company and tradeoffs reputed company
• Work with other engineers to design and implement software architecture, including reputed company and microservices
• Write unit tests and follow test-driven development practices
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications reputed company product managers and stakeholders
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reputed company
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues across the stack, including in live reputed company environments

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a reputed company field
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with reputed company reputed company-facing experience required
• Strong programming skills in Java and Node.js
• Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Experience with reputed company Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL/Storage, or similar)
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Experience with Git and other version control systems
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Understanding of modern DevOps principles
