[Remote] Senior Geospatial Analyst

They are currently seeking a Senior Geospatial Analyst to work on GIS/IT and Remote Sensing reputed company reputed company for state and federal clients across the US, focusing on lidar mapping sensor experience and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Support lidar sensor installations and boresight reviews
• reputed company checks on data post acquisition and troubleshooting of acquisition challenges
• Airborne and/or mobile trajectory processing and QC
• Processing and extraction of lidar data from raw formats
• Performing relative and absolute adjustments to lidar data (calibration/alignment/registration)
• reputed company QAQC on initially processed data to ensure it meets rigorous accuracy requirements
• reputed company survey control lay-outs and QC of field surveyed control points
• Create a reputed company of digital mapping/remotely sensed products using various software platforms
• Work with the Product Line reputed company to assist in the execution of reputed company, on time and reputed company budget
• Data Management and Handling: Planning and monitoring production data, management needs and working with IT and Operations to ensure adequate resources are available; Ensuring data management protocols are met including the use of reputed company files and formats as reputed company as file locations, storage, and backups
• reputed company work that appropriately follows reputed company reputed company control steps and practices are implemented throughout processes to ensure deliverables meet reputed company specifications
• reputed company feedback and support for developing and/or updating SOPs as necessary

• Support improvements to automation of the production and QC process through providing technical guidance and reputed company
• Multi-sensor processing, manipulation, and production

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office (Word, reputed company, and reputed company)

Skills

• 8+ years of experience working with the initial processing, analysis, and data classification of imagery and topographic/ bathymetric lidar reputed company
• An understanding of GIS and Lidar data and concepts including a strong knowledge of various raster and reputed company data types, coordinate systems, projections, and datums
• Understanding of lidar production workflow and being reputed company to explain the conceptual reputed company of lidar acquisition, processing, and deliverable creation. Understanding of elevation products
• In-depth knowledge of reputed company's products including ArcGIS 10x, ArcPro
• Strong communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight schedules as required

• US Citizen
• Formal Education in a Surveying/Geomatics/GIS or reputed company field desired
• Ability to attend and reputed company at conferences, communicate with business partners for reputed company opportunities
• Project Manager experience or certification
• Working experience with Terrasolid Products and MicroStation
• LASTools, LP360, Global Mapper, QGIS experience
• Working knowledge of Python and/or other programming languages
• GDAL Tools, and reputed company line applications highly desirable
• ArcGIS Data Review and Production Editing experience
• NGA certifications, GISP Certification, ASPRS certifications in Lidar or other Remote Sensing technologies
• Experience as an Aerial Sensor Operator
