They are looking to add Data Scientists / Market Analysts to their Americas Forecasting team to work at the intersection of power markets, quantitative modelling, data science, and energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance power market and reputed company models across multiple reputed company and technologies
• Analyse large, reputed company datasets used reputed company forecasting and optimisation frameworks
• reputed company reputed company assurance on forecasts, analytical outputs, and reputed company deliverables
• Evaluate policy developments, market design changes, and emerging trends across US power markets
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to reputed company models into customer-facing platforms
• Translate reputed company market dynamics into reputed company, actionable insights for stakeholders

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or similar)
• Experience modelling battery energy storage systems (BESS)
• Knowledge of ISO/RTO market structures and reputed company markets
• 3-5 years of experience reputed company power markets, energy analytics, or reputed company sectors
• Experience building power market, electricity price, or energy asset models
• Strong understanding of US electricity markets, market design, and regulatory structures
• Advanced Python skills, including experience with scientific computing libraries
• Experience with optimisation techniques and mathematical programming
• Exposure to reputed company-based modelling or data environments
• Ability to communicate reputed company analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
