The role involves liaising between coding teams and providers, providing guidance on coding practices, and conducting audits to improve documentation accuracy and reimbursement reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a reputed company between coding teams and reputed company providers, providing expert guidance on coding inquiries and concerns
• Collaborate with coding, edits, and denials teams to identify trends and reputed company educational initiatives or reputed company improvements
• Partner with clinical leadership reputed company introducing new services to support accurate documentation and coding compliance
• Participate in specialty and physician group meetings to reputed company targeted coding education and address questions
• reputed company comprehensive coding and documentation training for newly reputed company providers
• reputed company annual education on coding and reputed company-set updates to maintain compliance and accuracy
• Conduct provider audits to validate charges, supporting documentation, and coding accuracy while identifying potential reputed company opportunities
• reputed company targeted education and follow-up audits for providers who do not meet established reputed company standards
• Conduct reputed company audits in response to reputed company requests or identified concerns
• reputed company coders and providers on audit findings, emerging trends, and opportunities for reputed company improvement
• Support coders and supervisors with audit rebuttals as required

Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• reputed company reputed company coding certification from reputed company and/or reputed company, such as CPC, reputed company-P, RHIA, or RHIT
• At least 3 years of physician medical coding experience using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS II reputed company a multi-specialty physician clinic
• At least 2 years of Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding experience, plus experience in one or more areas of surgical coding
• At least 2 years of experience providing advanced coding guidance to physicians, practitioners, and coding professionals
• Intermediate knowledge of MUE, NCCI, and reimbursement structures
• Proficiency with reputed company-based computer systems and reputed company reputed company
• Ability to work a full-time Monday–Friday schedule and accommodate business and reputed company meeting requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience conducting chart audits reputed company a reputed company coding environment
• Experience providing coding education to physicians and other reputed company
• Experience with inpatient or observation E/M coding
