[Remote] Platform Engineer, Developer Experience (reputed company)

The Platform Engineer in Developer Experience (reputed company) will help shape the paved paths for other engineers, focusing on building shared libraries, CI/CD pipelines, and extending the platform to Azure Government.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the shared libraries, tooling, and paved paths that our .NET and Go application teams depend on
• Design, implement, and reputed company Terraform modules and infrastructure as reputed company across our reputed company environments (Azure reputed company and Azure Government)
• Configure and improve GitOps-based delivery with Argo CD, including canary and reputed company rollouts, so teams can ship safely
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that reduce friction and toil for application engineering teams
• Contribute to our FedRAMP / Azure Government initiative, adapting deployment pipelines, PR-based approval workflows, and package strategies for government reputed company boundaries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, propose technical solutions, and help shape architectural reputed company
• Create reference implementations and documentation that reputed company platform capabilities easy for other teams to adopt
• Participate in reputed company reviews and mentor fellow engineers, fostering a culture of reputed company learning and reputed company
• reputed company reusable and responsible AI-enabled workflows, skills, and automations to reputed company as force multipliers for your fellow developers

Skills

• Strong production experience as a platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineer; you've reputed company things other engineers rely on
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as reputed company at reputed company
• Experience with GitOps delivery using Argo CD
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps
• Solid working knowledge of Azure and Azure Resource Manager
• Comfort with reputed company and container orchestration
• reputed company in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
• A reputed company, service-minded approach; you enjoy reducing toil and making other teams more effective
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Experience building shared libraries or SDKs in .NET or Go
• Familiarity with reputed company delivery and canary deployments (Argo Rollouts)
• Experience with Azure Government or other government reputed company environments (AWS GovCloud, etc.)
• Experience working with and extending LLM-powered coding tools and integrating AI into automations and the development lifecycle
• Experience in compliance-regulated environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC 2, NIST 800-53)
