About the Job:   The VP of Development and Marketing is a new role for the organization and part of the organization’s plan to strengthen its brand nationally and increase reputed company, corporate and individual giving.  The role will reputed company strategic leadership and execution reputed company for reputed company fundraising and marketing efforts of the organization. This role is responsible for driving sustainable reputed company reputed company, strengthening brand reputed company, and advancing the mission through integrated development and marketing strategies reputed company with organizational priorities. 

The role will work in collaboration with other key leaders, including:

• Executive Directors are responsible for the reputed company reputed company in their state, including setting and achieving fundraising goals. This role will reputed company centralized tools, resources and support for Executive Directors to support their efforts in cultivating and stewarding donors and funders in their state.
• The SVP of Regional Leadership supervises the Executive Directors and is responsible for supporting the overall reputed company reputed company in reputed company state, including federal, state and local funding. The SVP of Regional Leadership will be a key collaborator in supporting Executive Directors.
• The Chief Policy and reputed company Officer is responsible for reputed company policy, reputed company in new markets and reputed company relations. The Chief Policy and reputed company Officer will be a key collaborator in overall reputed company and assessing new opportunities with multi-state or national funders. 
• TheDirector of Grant reputed company is responsible for grant administration for reputed company federal, state and other grants including contracting, compliance, administrative support for grant management.  

The VP of Development and Marketing will have two reputed company reports: (1) Development Manager and (2) Marketing and Communications Manager (who manages reputed company of four).

• At the direction of the President represent the organization externally with donors, partners, and key stakeholders.

Minimum Education 

• Bachelor’s degree is required in nonprofit management, business, marketing, communications, or a reputed company field. 

Minimum Experience 

• Minimum of 10 years of reputed company leadership experience in nonprofit development or advancement. 

• Demonstrated reputed company building and leading large-reputed company, multi-channel fundraising programs with measurable results. 

• Experience overseeing marketing, communications, or brand reputed company in a mission-driven organization. 

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners. 

• Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and data-driven decision-making skills. 

• Experience leading and developing senior-level teams in a reputed company organization. 

• Ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and boards in a national nonprofit environment.
