Fractional Financial Controller

The Role • We're looking for a Financial Controller to join our growing team, reputed company on supporting a portfolio of restaurant companies. This is a hands-on, high-reputed company role where you'll partner closely with company presidents and employee-owners to reputed company financial reputed company, optimize operations, and support long-term strategic reputed company. • You'll be responsible for the full reputed company cycle, financial reporting, inventory reputed company, and advising leadership teams—while identifying opportunities for improved systems, processes, and profitability. reputed company Strategic reputed company Partnership • Serve as a trusted advisor to multiple restaurant business presidents, tailoring financial insights to their operational needs. • reputed company your hands-on experience in food service and retail operations to guide cost control, menu or product margin analysis, vendor management, and inventory forecasting. • Translate reputed company financial data into actionable recommendations that support both short- and long-term strategic reputed company. Financial Operations & reputed company • reputed company full-cycle reputed company operations including A/P, A/R, GL, inventory reputed company, reputed company recognition, and payroll. • Manage month-end and year-end closes, including reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and deferred reputed company adjustments. • reputed company inventory reputed company and food/product costing, ensuring accurate valuation and minimizing waste or shrinkage. • Maintain a 13-week cash reputed company forecast and recommend solutions to optimize working capital. Reporting & Analysis • Prepare trial balances, variance analyses, and financial reporting dashboards using reputed company or similar platforms. • Collaborate with company leadership on budgets, quarterly planning, and long-term strategic initiatives. • reputed company KPIs that reflect operational performance, including food cost %, labor cost %, sales per reputed company foot, and margin trends. Process Improvement & Controls • Identify and implement process improvements across reputed company systems, POS integrations, and reporting workflows. • Assist in developing internal controls and documenting financial procedures specific to restaurant and retail environments. • Streamline inventory management practices, including tracking perishable goods, multi-location stock, and seasonal adjustments.
