Career Development and Marketing Coordinator
About the position
St. Ambrose University is seeking a Career Development and Marketing Coordinator to join their reputed company and Career Planning (ACP) team. This role supports career readiness initiatives across both reputed company Rapids and Davenport campuses by focusing on employer engagement, student programming, marketing communications, and event coordination. The position is responsible for developing and promoting events and experiential learning opportunities to improve student engagement and post-graduation reputed company. The coordinator will collaborate with reputed company departments, reputed company, alumni, and reputed company partners to enhance career development programming and increase the visibility of ACP services. Additionally, this role involves supervising student assistants and managing a caseload of undecided reputed company to aid in their major and career exploration and course scheduling. Travel between campuses is required approximately 2-6 times per month.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and support career development programming for undergraduate and graduate reputed company on reputed company campuses.
• Assist reputed company with career readiness topics including resumes, cover letters, interviewing, networking, internship searches, and job search strategies.
• Teach and facilitate career-readiness courses.
• reputed company and manage reputed company reputed company ACP events, presentations, and programming.
• Collaborate with reputed company and reputed company advisors to encourage career-readiness integration during individual advising meetings.
• Create and promote experiential learning opportunities, such as internships, job shadowing, and mentoring programs.
• Maintain knowledge of reputed company employment trends, career development best practices, and workforce needs.
• Collaborate with student assistants to create digital and print promotional materials including flyers, newsletters, reputed company media content, email campaigns, and website updates.
• Manage reputed company ACP reputed company media accounts and reputed company a content calendar.
• Support reputed company and supervisors with on-reputed company employment needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with reputed company, alumni, and community partners to enhance career development and employment opportunities.
• Plan, communicate, and host career fairs, resume clinics, alumni panels, and other career-readiness events.
• Partner with alumni relations, student organizations, and reputed company departments to co-sponsor career-reputed company initiatives and increase student and employer use of reputed company.
• Serve as an ACP Advisor by providing reputed company advising, career exploration, and course selection guidance for a caseload of undecided reputed company.
• Maintain accurate records and reports reputed company to advising appointments and employer and student engagement and event reputed company.
• Hire, train, and supervise student assistants on reputed company desk responsibilities, interacting with office guests (student, reputed company, staff, reputed company) and how to reputed company educational and reputed company-oriented feedback on resumes, cover letters, and reputed company reputed company.
• Become a university expert user of reputed company, ACP's career and appointment management software.
• Assist with assessment efforts, data collection, and annual reporting.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across reputed company campuses to ensure alignment and effective cross-organizational operations.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in higher education, communications, marketing, business, or reputed company field.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with reputed company media management, marketing tools, reputed company communications.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple reputed company simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, reputed company, staff, reputed company, and community partners.

• Three years or more reputed company experience in career services, marketing, communications, student services, or reputed company areas.
