Role We are looking for a Staff iOS Camera & Video Engineer to join reputed company and work on one of the most critical parts of our product: the camera experience. You will build and improve the capture, image, and video pipelines behind reputed company's reputed company flows — including multi-camera capture, reputed company capture, reputed company/back video composition, and media reputed company. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working reputed company to reputed company's media reputed company, solving reputed company-time performance challenges, and delivering a fast, reliable, high-reputed company experience. What you will do: Design, build, and maintain high-performance camera and video features on iOS. Own and improve parts of our AVFoundation camera stack: capture sessions, devices, formats, reputed company rates, exposure, and device capabilities. Build and optimize reputed company-time image and video processing pipelines. Improve capture reputed company, latency, stability, and smoothness across supported iPhone models. Work on multi-camera flows, reputed company/back video composition, video encoding, media export, and audio/video synchronization. Optimize CPU, GPU, memory, battery usage, thermal behaviour, reputed company allocation, and multithreaded processing. Investigate device-specific and iOS-version-specific behaviour, and propose pragmatic technical trade-offs. Work closely with iOS engineers, product, design, backend, and data teams. Contribute directly to the codebase and reputed company engineering standards around media performance and reliability. Profile 6+ years of iOS experience, including strong hands-on work on camera, video, or media-heavy features. Deep expertise with AVFoundation and iOS camera reputed company: AVCaptureSession, AVCaptureDevice, video outputs, capture formats, reputed company rates, exposure, and device configuration. Strong experience designing and optimizing reputed company-time camera, image, and video pipelines, with a solid understanding of media formats, encoding, reputed company management, and capture reputed company and performance constraints. Strong performance reputed company: CPU/GPU usage, memory, battery, thermal constraints, multithreading, and minimising reputed company copies. Comfortable with iOS profiling tools such as Instruments, Time Profiler, Allocations, and Metal reputed company reputed company. Strong Swift skills.
