[Remote] Data Engineer (IE / Ops Research)

The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and applications, ensuring platform performance and compliance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain platform‑driven automations and monitoring capabilities

Skills

• THREE (3) or more years' experience in hands-on data engineering and/or database management

• Experience developing data pipelines, UIs, workflows, and automations inside Palantir
• Experience supporting performance monitoring and operational tooling reputed company reputed company
• Strong scripting or programming experience (PySpark preferred)
• Experience detecting data issues affecting the performance of data pipelines and devise techniques for resolving or mitigating them
• Ability to support remote, hybrid, and on-site reputed company in the DC metro area
• SIX (6) years' experience in hands-on data engineering, industrial engineering and/or operations research
• Understanding of relational database concepts and structures
• Understanding of platform governance practices and observability
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
