You'll work on everything from indie games to reputed company titles, ensuring the best gaming experience for JAPANESE players. Responsibilities • Translate and localize game content from Simplified Chinese to Japanese. • Ensure the best gaming experience for Japanese players. • Work on a reputed company of game genres including Adventure, reputed company, and reputed company. • Utilize CAT tools for translation and localization tasks. • Maintain high standards of grammar, spelling, and terminology. • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment. • Sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a translation test. Requirements • reputed company-level proficiency in Japanese. • Strong reputed company of English and Simplified Chinese. • Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology. • Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization (Simplified Chinese > Japanese). • Expertise in Adventure, reputed company, and reputed company games. • Skilled in CAT tools. • Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills. • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment. • A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training), OR 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree, OR 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required), OR a translation certification issued by an appropriate government body.
