[Remote] Sr. Mechanical Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Designer to be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying mechanical components and systems. This role will collaborate with various teams to create detailed designs that meet performance and manufacturability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar)
• reputed company mechanical designs for new products, equipment, and reputed company improvements
• Interpret engineering requirements and convert concepts into manufacturable designs
• reputed company bills of materials (BOMs), design documentation, and engineering change notices (ECNs)
• reputed company design calculations and tolerance analyses to ensure functionality and reliability
• Work with manufacturing teams to reputed company design and production issues
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to identify components and optimize designs
• Review designs for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Participate in reputed company improvement efforts reputed company on cost reduction, reputed company improvement, and manufacturability
• Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation

Skills

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or reputed company field
• 7+ years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing, industrial equipment, process systems, or engineered products environment
• Advanced proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, reputed company, or AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication, machining, sheet metal, welding, and assembly processes
• Experience creating reputed company engineering drawings and documentation
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple reputed company and priorities simultaneously
