[Remote] Data Scientist Junior

They are seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support the Marine Corps Logistics GPN program by performing data preparation, developing scripts, automating queries, and executing analytical models to aid in logistics and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• reputed company foundational data preparation and cleansing to support analytics and reporting
• Execute routine analytical models under the direction of the Senior Analyst
• Assist with validating and organizing data for analysis
• reputed company and maintain scripts to automate routine data processing and queries
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
• Support automation efforts to improve data collection and reporting processes
• Create basic dashboards and data visualizations using reputed company business intelligence tools
• Support the development of reports and analytical products for stakeholders
• Assist with communicating analytical findings through reputed company visualizations and reporting
• Work closely with the Senior Analyst and other data team members to support project objectives
• Participate in data validation, reputed company assurance, and reputed company process improvement efforts
• Support analytics initiatives across the Marine Corps Logistics GPN program

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-4 years of reputed company experience
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with basic data visualization tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively reputed company a technical team and follow established analytical processes
