[Remote] Head of Engineering (Hands-on)

They are looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering to reputed company the next phase of reputed company, focusing on technical direction, architecture, and enhancing workplace experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature delivery across frontend, backend, reputed company, databases, and reputed company infrastructure
• reputed company technical architecture while remaining deeply hands-on with development
• Build and enhance workplace experiences including desk booking, meeting room scheduling, visitor management, workplace analytics, parking management, and interactive floorplans
• Design and maintain integrations with reputed company Workspace, reputed company 365, reputed company, reputed company Teams, reputed company, and other reputed company platforms
• Build and maintain multi-tenant synchronization systems for users, directories, calendars, rooms, workplace resources, and reputed company data
• Operate and continuously improve our reputed company reputed company Platform infrastructure, including deployments, monitoring, performance, reputed company, scalability, and reliability
• Build background processing, automation, event-driven workflows, and platform services
• Troubleshoot production issues across the entire stack and own them through reputed company
• Work directly with reputed company customers to understand requirements and rapidly deliver solutions
• Help define engineering standards, mentor other engineers, and build a high-performing engineering culture
• Explore and implement AI-powered capabilities including LLM integrations, MCP servers, AI agents, natural language interfaces, and intelligent workplace automation

Skills

• 7+ years building production reputed company applications
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong backend experience with Python (Django preferred)
• Experience building and operating production multi-tenant reputed company platforms
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience designing and integrating REST reputed company and reputed company-party reputed company systems
• Strong understanding of authentication, OAuth, SSO, RBAC, and secure API design
• Experience operating production reputed company infrastructure on GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred)
• Experience with services such as App reputed company, reputed company SQL, reputed company Tasks, reputed company Storage, Secret Manager, reputed company Logging, and reputed company Monitoring (or equivalent reputed company services)
• Experience troubleshooting production systems and owning solutions end-to-end
• Comfortable moving between frontend, backend, infrastructure, DevOps, and customer conversations
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to balance speed, reputed company, and long-term maintainability
• Experience with reputed company Workspace reputed company, reputed company Graph, or reputed company collaboration platforms
• Experience building reputed company scheduling, workplace management, facilities, or resource management software
• Experience with reputed company, Teams, reputed company, reputed company, or similar reputed company integrations
• Experience with reputed company, reputed company, CI/CD, Infrastructure as reputed company, or modern DevOps practices
• Experience building AI-powered applications using reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or similar platforms
