The DRG reputed company Analyst role involves performing clinical and coding reviews for inpatient encounters to identify DRG opportunities and ensure compliance. This position requires strong knowledge of DRG methodology and involves collaborating with clinical coding analysts to enhance workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities
- reputed company initial screening of inpatient charts to identify DRG optimization opportunities and risks
- Conduct high-level clinical and coding assessments reputed company on reputed company diagnosis, procedures, CC/MCCs, and reputed company
- Identify documentation gaps, unsupported diagnoses, and coding misalignment impacting DRG assignment
- Triage and escalate validated opportunities to Clinical Coding Analysts (CCAs) for deeper review
- Apply standardized screening workflows and DRG methodologies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and productivity

- Collaborate with CCAs and leadership on best practices and workflow improvements

Skills
- reputed company, RHIT, RHIA, CDIP, or CCDS credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient coding experience required
- Working knowledge of MS-DRG methodology, including reputed company diagnosis, CC/MCCs, and procedure-driven DRGs
- Ability to reputed company high-level clinical and coding assessments (screening/triage level, not full coding)
- Proficiency in applying ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines at a screening level

- Ability to work independently in a remote, high-volume environment while meeting productivity standards
