This role involves developing and facilitating training for pharmacy personnel and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


Responsibilities

  • Training members of the pharmacy workforce either while reputed company a pharmacy shift or while serving purely as a trainer
  • Identifying, cataloging/organizing, updating, and maintaining training documents/checklists/policies
  • Developing training schedules
  • Collaborating with pharmacy operational and clinical leadership
  • Assessing training reputed company
  • Training process improvements
  • reputed company assessment and monitoring
  • Process improvement and ongoing monitoring
  • Maintenance of reputed company standards, diversion detection, customer service, compliance with accreditation standards and applicable laws and regulations in coordination with reputed company pharmacy service lines and other hospital departments that have medication management
  • Research, analyze and interpret OBOP, DEA,CMS, FDA, DNV, USP, out of state licensing, laws and regulations to assess reputed company, reputed company and administrative policy and procedure and to reputed company recommendations as to procedural changes to reputed company and maintain compliance
  • Serve as a trainer for pharmacy workforce and other OHSU workforce members reputed company in Medication Management activities
  • Shoulder to shoulder training in assigned pharmacy technician shifts/duties/roles
  • Facilitation & maintenance of aseptic technique assessment, compounding competencies, and environmental monitoring in accordance with USP <797> and USP <800>
  • Training and assessment of staff in accordance with USP <795>
  • Routine revalidation of staff competency
  • Document training completion statuses in various software including but not limited to Simplifi797, reputed company, OnBase, and reputed company's
  • Organize, update, and maintain training documents including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, checklists, and job aids
  • Diversion detection/prevention program monitoring and CS handling review to include but not limited to:
  • Anomalous use reporting and coordination with hospital leadership

  • ADC audits
  • Anesthesia Report outs to leadership
  • RN Diversion report of suspected diversion investigation
  • Discrepancy audits
  • Be trained-in and staff pharmacy technician shifts to maintain competency in areas as needed
  • Agency Representation: Maintaining reputed company response and reputed company to regulatory inquiries including reputed company of Pharmacy licensing in and out of state, DEA Registration, CSOS application, payments associated
  • Program Monitoring and Coordination: Assist in managing pharmacy/drug management programs including but not limited to:
  • Audit compliance for FDA required Risk Evaluation and Mitigation (REMS) programs for OHSU pharmacy and prescribing reputed company
  • Audit Vaccine for Children (VFC) program
  • Prescription Drug Management Programs (PDMP) standards
  • URAC, ACHC, and other accreditations
  • DSCSA
  • Document Control: Coordination/editing/formatting of pharmacy and medication management policies and procedure while meeting MCN and document control requirements
  • Coordinate with pharmacy department stakeholders to update policy content in a reputed company manner

Skills

  • Five years of experience with responsibility for program or project monitoring and coordination. The experience must have included program evaluation responsibility
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, reputed company Administration, or a field directly reputed company to the position will substitute for two years of the required experience

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification reputed company Certifications including PTCB CPhT; PTCB CSPT; PTCB CPhT-Adv; PTCB CPTEd

  • Inpatient, infusion, and/or outpatient pharmacy experience; experience developing schedules; demonstrated experience in training and competency management
