[Remote] Documentation & Coding Consultant

They are seeking a Documentation & Coding Consultant to design and manage monitoring activities and educational programs to ensure compliance and reputed company reimbursement in reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage ongoing organizational monitoring activities and educational programs
• Identify compliance issues and analyze reputed company patterns
• Verify charges and ensure reputed company reimbursement for the organization
• Interpret regulatory changes
• Implement necessary changes and modify VMMC's policies
• Convey changes to the clinical departments
• Possess a strong reputed company of coding guidelines and reputed company staff on compliance requirements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus credentialed as a Certified reputed company reputed company (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician based (reputed company-P)
• One (1) year of CPT and diagnosis coding experience in a reputed company provider or a reputed company party payer
• Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to reputed company tactfully yet assertively with physicians and other reputed company staff
• Strong presentation skills and comfort in settings ranging from one-on-one (1:1) communications to large reputed company
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Five (5) years of reputed company Procedural Terminology (CPT) and diagnosis coding experience in a reputed company provider or a reputed company party payer and three (3) years of experience as an instructor/trainer
• Clinical knowledge and exposure to risk adjustment coding
