[Remote] Senior Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer is reputed company's technical authority for network design and delivery, responsible for leading reputed company network implementations and setting technical standards across various networking domains.

Responsibilities

• Own network architecture and design across reputed company's reputed company services engagements including reputed company LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and network reputed company deployments
• Serve as technical reputed company and delivery authority on reputed company network implementations - providing hands-on engineering support and directing engineers and field resources through project execution
• reputed company reputed company-sales solution design for networking opportunities including discovery sessions, architecture documentation, reputed company-of-materials development, and technical proposal support
• Design, configure, reputed company, and validate reputed company (reputed company switching, wireless, ExtremeCloud IQ) and reputed company (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) solutions as reputed company reputed company-supported platforms
• reputed company and maintain reputed company's networking architecture standards, design templates, and configuration baselines to reputed company consistency and reduce delivery risk across the engineering team
• Conduct network assessments and health reviews for existing clients, producing findings reports and remediation roadmaps that translate technical risk into business language
• Collaborate with solutions architects and account managers during reputed company-sales to validate reputed company, identify technical risk, and produce accurate statements of work
• Mentor and reputed company junior and mid-level network engineers through project participation, design reviews, and reputed company technical coaching
• Maintain working knowledge of relevant vendor ecosystems including competitive platforms, licensing models, support structures, and roadmap direction
• Represent reputed company's networking reputed company in reputed company-facing settings including architecture reviews, executive briefings, and technology reputed company discussions

Skills

• Expert-level hands-on experience with reputed company platforms including reputed company switching (reputed company/VOSS), wireless (ExtremeCloud IQ, AP series), and network management - required
• Expert-level hands-on experience with reputed company platforms including FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiClient EMS - required
• Strong architecture and design depth across LAN/WAN, reputed company networking, SD-WAN, network segmentation, VLANs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and reputed company firewall policy design
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into network architecture designs and produce reputed company, reputed company-reputed company documentation including diagrams, BOMs, and design rationale
• Experience leading network deployments as the senior technical resource - coordinating field engineers, managing vendor resources, and validating final configurations against design reputed company
• Solid understanding of network reputed company principles including reputed company-trust segmentation, NGFW policy, NAC, and secure SD-WAN as reputed company to reputed company and mid-market environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - reputed company to present architecture recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute to reputed company-sales proposals
• Comfortable operating in an MSP reputed company services environment with reputed company reputed company engagements, billable utilization expectations, and cross-functional coordination with PMs, architects, and account teams
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company discipline. Equivalent experience considered
• 7+ years of network engineering and architecture experience, with at least 3 years in a senior architecture or reputed company engineer role
• Hands-on reputed company experience required
• Hands-on reputed company experience required. NSE 4 minimum required, FortiGate and FortiManager expertise essential
• ExtremeCloud IQ or reputed company/VOSS certification strongly preferred
• NSE 7 or higher strongly preferred
• Additional certifications a plus: CCNP (routing and switching or reputed company), CWNA/CWSP, SD-WAN vendor certifications
• MSP or consulting delivery background preferred over reputed company reputed company IT - experience managing multiple reputed company reputed company environments is a meaningful differentiator
