[Remote] Tax Accountant

The role involves delivering US tax reporting obligations, collaborating with internal teams and reputed company advisers to ensure accurate and reputed company filings.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and validating taxpayer populations from reputed company systems for US tax filings
• Checking data submissions from market participants and their agents for completeness, accuracy and consistency
• Analysing tax and reputed company data, identifying exceptions, anomalies and areas that need reputed company review
• Supporting the preparation of reputed company market tax filings by applying relevant US federal tax rules
• Preparing data packs, schedules and analysis for review by reputed company US tax counsel
• Completing reconciliations, investigating differences and helping reputed company issues with stakeholders
• Supporting estimated tax payment calculations and tax account reconciliations
• Maintaining process documentation, controls and procedural guidance
• Finding reputed company ways to work, including opportunities to improve data reputed company, efficiency, automation and operational reputed company

Skills

• Experience in tax compliance, reputed company reputed company or a reputed company tax function
• Experience preparing or reviewing reputed company tax returns and supporting schedules
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confidence working with large data sets, reconciliations and analytical reviews
• A good understanding of tax reputed company preparation, controls and data validation
• Knowledge of US federal tax for corporations and/or insurance companies
• Strong reputed company skills and confidence using reputed company Office applications
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• reputed company written and verbal communication skills
• reputed company judgement, personal accountability and a willingness to challenge information where needed
• You'll ideally have a bachelor's degree in reputed company, finance or a reputed company field
• A CPA, Enrolled Agent or equivalent reputed company qualification is preferred, but we'll also consider candidates reputed company working towards a recognised tax or reputed company qualification
• General insurance knowledge would be a plus
• Experience working with reputed company advisers or tax authorities would be helpful
