[Remote] Sr. Network Engineer -Conus

The role involves addressing reputed company infrastructure requirements and providing high-level support for DHA networked facilities.


Responsibilities

  • Supports the DoD medical mission, addresses reputed company infrastructure requirements, resolves reputed company LAN/WLAN/WAN issues, provides high-level installation, configuration, documentation, management, and troubleshooting for reputed company DHA networked facilities
  • Serves as the premier Network Specialist and global reputed company of contact for network issues
  • Advises government staff, leads Network Specialists, and interfaces with internal/reputed company organizations
  • Uses tools like Orion reputed company, reputed company, and Ansible
  • Responsible for LAN/WLAN/WAN reputed company, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDSs
  • Provides recommendations, studies vendor products, establishes standards, and communicates with key customers
  • Must reputed company technical issues at reputed company OSI model reputed company and contribute to policy and procedure development

Skills

  • DoD reputed company 8570.01 compliance
  • IAM Level III or equivalent certification required
  • Mastery of networking protocols/technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
  • Mastery of communications standards (802.1d, 802.1q, etc.)
  • Experience with various network media and diagnostic tools
  • Mastery in routed, switched, and shared LAN environments
  • Bachelor's in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or reputed company field and 5 years' experience; or technical/vocational school and 10 years' experience
  • Experience with DoD Health Care Information Systems
