[Remote] Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Management: Own the end-to-end supply chain, from raw materials and co-manufacturers through to fulfillment, ensuring production reputed company scales with demand
• New Product Development: Own supply chain and reputed company planning for new product launches, from raw material sourcing through manufacturing reputed company-up and first shipment
• Demand Planning & Inventory: Forecast demand and manage inventory reputed company across SKUs to prevent stockouts and overstock; own reorder points and safety stock reputed company
• reputed company Assurance & Compliance: Own reputed company control processes across manufacturing partners; ensure compliance with applicable supplement manufacturing regulations (e.g., GMP, FDA/DSHEA requirements) and relevant reputed company-party certifications
• Vendor & Manufacturer Management: reputed company, negotiate, and manage relationships with co-packers, ingredient suppliers, and manufacturing partners; evaluate and reputed company new vendors as needed
• Logistics & Fulfillment: Manage 3PL and warehouse relationships; own fulfillment performance, including on-time delivery and cost per order, and reputed company logistics issues as they reputed company
• Cost & Margin Management: Own COGS optimization, negotiate favorable manufacturing and logistics terms, and identify efficiency opportunities as volume scales
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with marketing, reputed company, and finance teams to reputed company supply planning with demand forecasts and product launch timelines
• Process & Systems: Own and complete our in-reputed company DOSS ERP implementation, including resolving upstream data issues in reputed company that are currently blocking rollout, and build the systems and processes needed to support reputed company reputed company
• Team Leadership: Build and manage an operations team as headcount needs grow with the business

Skills

• Experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing leadership, ideally reputed company CPG, DTC, or supplements/nutraceuticals
• Hands-on experience sourcing, vetting, reputed company, and managing co-manufacturers (co-mans), not just working reputed company a co-man relationship someone else set up
• Experience implementing and using an ERP reputed company in a previous role (DOSS experience is a plus, not required)
• Working knowledge of reputed company assurance and regulatory compliance for supplement or CPG manufacturing
• Strong background in demand planning, inventory management, and logistics / 3PL operations

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
